Kvia Cow Brush Otto

The KVIA Otto Cow Brush is a compact and efficient automatic cow brush designed to improve cow comfort, cleanliness and welfare while requiring minimal space in the shed.

Suitable for both cows and heifers, the Otto provides thorough brushing across the head, back, croup and tail root, helping to keep the coat clean and well groomed. Its compact design makes it particularly well suited to older buildings or livestock housing where space is limited.

The brush starts automatically when activated by the animal and stops after 90 seconds of inactivity. Each time it starts, the direction of rotation changes to help extend the life of the brush. In the event of an overload, the brush automatically stops and reverses direction, providing additional tail protection.

Built with a stainless steel construction and brush bearing, the Otto is designed for durability and low maintenance. Its energy-efficient gearbox and frequency-regulated soft start/stop system help reduce power consumption, with KVIA stating that the Otto uses 66% less power than comparable cow brushes.

Operating from a standard 230V earthed power supply and fitted with durable nylon brushes, the KVIA Otto provides a practical, reliable and energy-efficient solution for improving everyday cow comfort.
