About Us

Stamford Agricultural Services (SAS) provides a complete package of agricultural machinery sales, servicing, parts and support, helping farms run efficiently with reliable equipment and dependable backup when it's needed most.

We supply a wide range of equipment for modern farms, including Weidemann wheel loaders, slurry handling systems, grassland machinery, livestock feeding equipment and livestock housing solutions. Alongside new machinery, we also supply quality used equipment, helping farmers find practical solutions to suit their farm and budget.

Supporting our machinery sales is a full range of workshop and on-farm services. Our experienced engineers carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs to keep machines working reliably and minimise downtime during busy periods.

SAS History

Our Story

When engineer Rob Huntbach was made redundant in 1991, he decided to set up his own business and continue servicing diet feeders for local farmers. With little more than his tools and a van, Rob travelled from farm to farm carrying out repairs and maintenance.

From the very beginning, Rob's partner Dawn played a key role in the business. While Rob was out on the road working with customers, Dawn managed the accounts and paperwork, helping to keep everything organised behind the scenes.

A few years later, Rob was offered the opportunity to take on a Keenan dealership, allowing the business to specialise further in diet feeders and slurry handling equipment. As demand grew, so did the business.

Although livestock feeding and slurry handling equipment remain a huge part of the business, and an area SAS are highly experienced in, the company has continued to grow across all sectors of agriculture. Today, SAS is a dealer for many leading manufacturers within the industry, including Pöttinger, Weidemann, CMP, Saveco, Abbey, Redrock, Trioliet, JOZ, Storth and Teemore, alongside many other well-known brands.

Over the years, the business has expanded in all areas, now offering machinery sales, servicing, support and breakdown cover to customers across the country.
